Residential Remodeling Project Manager, Coeur d'Alene Branch

What if you could build something from scratch, while backed by a company that's been doing it right for 18 years?

What if leading $1,000,000+ remodels in a premier construction market came with the freedom to run your own operation?

You'll run high-end remodels in a premier construction market where clients have real budgets and high expectations. A strong PM, like you, can manage $3 to $5 million in active projects at once here. You'll own your jobsite, build your own trade network, and make your own calls day to day. What's different when joining our team is what's already done before you ever break ground. Our in-house team builds out full selections and budgets for each project, so by the time a job starts, the variables are a fraction of what you'd see on a typical project. Our plans are extremely detailed and set you and subcontractors up with clear expectations and scopes of work. With our team backing you, you'll have hundreds of years of combined experience and 18 years of process working in your favor on every job. And you'll be doing it in Coeur d'Alene, where a great quality of life is part of the deal.

Ealy Construction is a regional and national award-winning design-build remodeling company founded in Moscow, Idaho. We’re expanding our operations to CDA, and the new branch needs a self-starting, joyful, problem-solving PM to lead it.

Residential Remodeling Project Manager, Coeur d'Alene Branch

Compensation

  • $85,000+ salary, depending on experience

  • Company truck provided

  • Company-matched 401k after 1 year

  • Profit-sharing tied to branch performance, structured and paid out as the branch grows

Location

Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. You'll need to be local or willing to relocate. Moscow is 90 minutes south. You'll spend your first two weeks there with our team before launching in CDA.

Who You'll Work With

You'll report directly to Scott, our General Manager. You'll have open, ongoing communication with Scott, Nolan (our Moscow PM), and Nethaniel, the owner, as-needed. One of the three of us will be on site with you in Coeur d'Alene at least once a week. Nolan will be your closest day-to-day resource. He's not your supervisor. He's the person who's already solved the problems you're about to run into who will serve as your onboarding resource.

What Winning Looks Like

Days 1 to 14: Moscow Onboarding

  • You've shadowed our Moscow team through production meetings, pre-construction, client walkthroughs, and sub coordination

  • You understand how we run jobs, communicate with clients, and hold quality standards

  • You've spent time with Scott and Nethaniel and can say clearly what makes Ealy different

Days 15 to 30: CDA Launch

  • Your first $1M+ remodel is in pre-construction. Budget reviewed, trade scope mapped, schedule drafted

  • You've started building your CDA trade base using referrals from Scott and Nethaniel

  • You've identified which CDA designers are worth building a working relationship with

Day 30-60

  • Your first project is running. Subs scheduled, budget on track, client communication steady

  • Jobsite protection, cleanliness, and safety standards are where they need to be

  • You have a trade network in CDA starting to take shape

  • Scott, Nolan, or Nethaniel have been on site with you at least once a week, proactively helping you solve problems as they come up.

Main Responsibilities

You'll manage $1M+ residential remodels in the Coeur d'Alene market from pre-construction through punch list. We are not doing new construction in this role. We're focused on high-end remodels.

  • Own the jobsite. Quality, safety, cleanliness, and client experience are yours.

  • Lead pre-construction. Review budgets, build project plans, map trade scope, and have the schedule ready before day one on site.

  • Vet and build your trade base. Use referrals from our Moscow team to find, evaluate, and lock in reliable subs in CDA.

  • Work with designers. Our CDA work comes through referrals from independent designers. You'll learn quickly which ones run a process that works with ours.

  • Manage materials. Estimate, order, and confirm deliveries. Don't let the job stall waiting on a truck.

  • Communicate daily. Keep the team updated, flag schedule problems early, document changes as they happen.

  • Handle change orders. Get the estimate, get it documented, get client approval before you move. No exceptions.

  • Take care of clients. Be clear, consistent, and professional. Bring in Scott or Nethaniel when something is above your pay grade.

  • Wrap up jobs smoothly. Punch list done, certificate of occupancy in hand, warranty calls followed through.

  • Represent Ealy Construction. How you show up in CDA is how we show up in Moscow/Pullman

Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years residential carpentry or remodeling experience

  • Experience managing projects at or above $500,000 in scope

  • Comfortable running your own day. You'll have support, but you own the jobsite.

  • Tech capable: project management software (Buildertrend or similar) and Google Workspace

  • CAD experience, especially Chief Architect, is a strong plus

  • Self-managing, self-motivated, detail-oriented

  • Humble, hungry, smart, and personable.

Benefits

  • Company truck

  • Controlled work hours. We have families and we protect that time

  • Production bonus and profit-sharing tied to branch performance

  • Periodic off-site education

  • Company-matched 401k after 1 year

  • Room to grow. There's no ceiling on what this role can become

  • Projects that are typically within 30 minutes of home

  • Clothing allowance

Why This Role Is Different

Most PM jobs drop you into a fairly rigid box. This one gives you the chance to build your own, with a proven company behind you. We've figured out how to do this well in Moscow. You get that knowledge, that support, and the chance to own what you build in CDA.

As the branch grows, your role grows with it. Profit-sharing is an explicit goal to grow into.
